Cleo Marie Polischak, age 14, of Trafford, PA. died May 17, 2022. Adored daughter of Eric and Sabrina Polischak. Cleo was born on August 20, 2007, and was soon after adopted in November 2007 by Sabrina as a gift for Eric. Cleo is believed to have intestinal cancer. She is survived by her grandmothers, Cheryl and Jill, her grandfather Dennis, her sister, Summer, and her brothers Mister Bean and Teddy Bear Polischak. While Cleo didn’t officially attend school, she graduated from training classes early in life, and then she was her mother’s study buddy while Sabrina studied for her master’s and doctorate degrees. Sabrina nicknamed Cleo Doctor Toodles for her time spent with Sabrina studying and her ability to learn commands and directions quickly. She was given many other nicknames throughout her beautiful life. Her father adored her immensely every day. He loved spending time with her while studying or working at home, taking her on walks, taking her to the park with the family, or just lying on the couch with her. Anyone who met Cleo saw how much she loved the attention and her belly being pet, showing her belly while mimicking a squirrel. She loved nibbling on her stuffed toys, pillowcases, and bedsheets. She could melt the hardest of hearts with her purr grumble for attention. Cleo lived a full life, thanks in part to the quick and skilled work of Dr. Suzanne Martin and the staff at Northern Pike Veterinary Hospital after Cleo needed surgery in April 2012 and the subsequent care of the team at PVSEC. Dr. Martin and the staff took tremendous care of Cleo over her life, including the most recent care by Dr. Angie and Dr. Haggerty. Cleo is preceded in death by her loving sister, Cinnamon Marie, her brother Duffy, and her sister Rue. Thank you to all who have stopped to pet her, loved her, or just smiled when they saw her beautiful smile coming by.
