SAMUEL ORR JULY 18, 2016- OCTOBER 13, 2025 SAM WAS A BEAGLE SHARPEI MIX RESCUED IN 2016. HE WAS A COMFORTING PRESENCE. ALWAYS AT MY SIDE THROUGH ALL THE UPS AND DOWNS IN MY LIFE. HE WAS MY CONSTANT, MY COMPANION, MY PROTECTOR. HE HATED THUNDERSTORMS AND ALWAYS SLEPT IN MY BED ON THOSE NIGHTS 🥰 BUT HE LOVED TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK WITH TREATS AND HIS TOYS. AND WE ENDED THE DAYS WITH CUDDLES ON THE COUCH WITH HIS SPECIAL COMFORTER. EVERY TIME I SEE A DOG WITH HIS NOSE TO THE GROUND, I WILL SMILE AND REMEMBER SAM. BECAUSE WE COULD NEVER JUST “GO FOR A WALK,” THAT BEAGLE NOSE OF HIS WAS ALWAYS TO THE GROUND🤣 HE WILL FOREVER BE MISSED.

I’ll never forget how fun it was to play fetch with that knucklehead, especially when he’d grab the yellow ring and couldn’t see where he was going because of how he held it — didn’t stop him from going for it, though!

“Ready for attention now, I know you JUST woke up and got your coffee, but here I am! I am sure going to miss your greetings and your comforting presence Sam. It’s so quiet here now. But, now you have no more aches and pains, no more sickies, no more troubles with bathroom. Rest in peace Sam pup. I miss you so much.

For the last nine years, we were never once attacked by UPS FedEx, nor Amazon! There wasn’t a white truck that could even stop in front of the house without you confronting it! You are such a brave and loyal friend, especially to Tammy. I’m gonna miss you!

This is my favorite photo of me and Sam. He was hilarious, and was always doing funny things and making funny faces that would cheer us all up. I remember all the walks and good times we had, and how much he loved his family and wanted to protect us. <3 We love you Sam!!!
