Spring 2008- February 26, 2024. At 16 years-old, Simba crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He is very loved and missed. Simba was stong and a fighter. He had been through a lot. When Simba was very young, the vets thought he had feline leukemia. He had ear mites, goo that would keep him from opening his eyes, and was very weak. He recovered from all. Simba moved 6 times, once cross country. Simba was my protecter. He was very protective, lovable, and gentle to me and my brother. Simba loved head-booping us. He was always concerned and wanted to be around me when I was upset. Simba was very tolerant over many things. When we lived in Utah, Simba would somehow get on top of the fridge and sit on it. He used to sit on my desk or my moms dresser and stick his paws in her water. Simba would love to get in front of the camera when I was on the phone with someone, especially if I was on the phone with my aunt. He liked to sit on the couch and look out the window. Simba also liked to occasionally bird watch and squirrel watch. He liked to sleep under blankets, too. Simba loved milk, tuna, salmon, and Greenie treats. He would cross his paws over his face or lay down on his back in the sun. Simba was with me since I was born. He always wanted to be in my room when I was a baby. Simba was and always will be my best friend. I love you, Simba. And when the time comes, I will meet you on the rainbow bridge. -Maddie |
