Sadie B. was born on October 15, 2008 in Richmond, VA. She was rescued by the SPCA and found hiding under a Cadillac. She was adopted by her Cat Dad, Cary on December 2, 2008 and they formed a beautiful bond from day one. Sadie was a gray tabby cat, part Bengal (this totally showed in her personality). With an off-center orange spot on her head and a stripey grey tummy with hints of peach- Sadie was a wonder to look at. Sadie lived an adventurous life. She was a bi-coastal kitty- living in Virginia, CA and NYC. As cats do, she loved laying and purring in her chosen spots of sunshine or cool breezes in each location. She loved the sunroom in Oakland, the fire escape and chirping with the pigeons in Manhattan or among piles of soft blankets in VA. Above all, her fave spot to chill was always on the couch with her paw on Cary’s pant leg. In her younger years, Sadie was an expert mouse catcher and toy swatter. As she got older, she loved her catnip toys and watching TV. Sadie loved being pet by her close ones, especially behind the ears or on the top of her head. With an impressive appetite, her fave foods were tuna and cheese. Sadie grew an affinity for the arts. Her fave shows were Conan O’Brien, X- Files and South Park. Her fave songs were the Velvet Underground – I’m Waiting For The Man, Bjork – It’s Oh So Quiet, Lizzo – Juice. Sadly, our little Sadie B. kitty cat crossed the rainbow bridge in February 2025. We will always remember the way she made us feel. Thank you Sadie, for gracing our lives with your spunky, loving and silly personality. We will carry on our memories of you in our hearts forever. |
