In Loving Memory of Mushu
2016 – 2025
Our beloved bearded dragon, Mushu, passed away peacefully after nine wonderful years of life. She joined our family on January 24, 2017, and from that day on, she filled our home with personality, attitude, and unexpected sweetness.
Mushu had a spirit all her own — strong-willed and unapologetic, never afraid to show when she didn’t want to be bothered. But behind that tough exterior was a gentle soul who loved her companion, Squirtle the tortoise. The two shared countless warm afternoons together on their heating stone, and it wasn’t unusual to find Mushu perched comfortably on top of his shell, resting without a care in the world.
One of my(Amber) favorite memories will always be coming home from night shifts and seeing Mushu rush to the edge of her tank, eagerly bobbing her head up and down — her own special way of saying “welcome home” Her joy was contagious, and her little gestures reminded us daily how deeply animals can love and connect.
Mushu loved crickets and tomatoes, basking in her favorite spot, and simply being near her family. Though small in size, she left a big mark on our hearts. Her warmth, her sass, and her presence will be forever missed.
Rest peacefully, sweet Mushu. You will always be our Little lizard. ❤️
