Neko Van Biber crossed the rainbow bridge on January 5th. After hard fight with cancer Neko passed away surrounded by his entire family. Neko was adopted from Wayside Waifs where he stole the hearts of our family at first sight. Neko loved his family Jay, Hope, Julianne, Olivia, Jackson, Landon, Faith, Grandma Judy, and his little fur sister Taney. Some of his favorite things were sleeping in grandma’s room, morning cuddles and kisses with his mom, Hope. He loved laying next to his dad Jay while he played his video games. He always welcomed us to lay on the floor on him and use him as a pillow. Snow days were his favorite- we could never get him to come inside. It was an unspoken rule in our house that if someone was getting ice from the fridge Neko would always get a cube or two. He enjoyed watching his mom cook dinner and laying his head in our laps to beg for scraps at the table. Neko was a family member that really helped tie our blended family together. He was such a handsome boy with the most caring and loving personality. The heartache is immense, but we are comforted knowing he is watching over us just as he did while he was here. Everyone who has entered our home has felt the incredible love he always had to give. He remembered every friend he made and never let you go unnoticed or unkissed. We love you Neko, you will be missed and remembered by many. If you are interested in donating to a cause close to our hearts you can visit wearethecure.org |
