Emmett Appa Harewood-Harris was born November 6, 2011, in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania, to Zeus and Zoe. He was one of many pups. Emmett came into his forever home in December 2011 as an early Christmas present to Daniel and Nicole Harewood-Harris. During his 10 years of life, Emmett enjoyed playing with other animals and various toys. He loved car rides, hiking, walks, anything to do with water, cuddles with his family, and playing with his human sister Sophia. Emmett loved children more than he enjoyed the company of an adult. He will be forever sorry to those that he showed his unkindness to in his past such as; The neighbor who kept ringing our doorbell (we still have no idea what she wanted) which resulted in Emmett biting her. The school bus children and bus driver that he scared (he just wanted to take a ride) to his Uncle Dan for scaring the poop out of him. And also to the many visitors that came to the house and he was not so nice too. When his parents talked about Emmett and how he was a very important part of the family many would ask what kind of dog Emmett was they would respond by saying “He is an Emmett, His own special breed”, That his parents knew of he was a mixed breed, German Sheperd, with St. Bernard and Black Lab. Because of his size, he was the best doggo to cuddle and get hugs from and his love and affection are forever missed by his family. Emmett was a huge part of his mommy and daddy’s life. They always made him a priority like any child. If you were a part of their life you were part of his. Everyone knew Emmett as the baby of the family and he was treated as such. Emmett had many friends that are still with us in the physical world and some that have passed on to the rainbow bridge. Violet, Moose, Joe Joe, Aurora, Soxy, and Ozzy there are many others but these pets are named because they were a big part of Emmett’s life. Violet and Joe Joe he loved to snuggle with daily. Moose and Emmett usually had video and phone time together. Aurora and Soxy were his play friends and Ozzy at the end of Emmett’s life became his companion. Emmett never liked being alone at home and we are forever thankful that Ozzy came into our lives to be with Emmett and spend time with him. I know Ozzy misses you a lot Emmett, he has been a big help to mommy since you left. Emmett is missed so much in his family’s home escpesially from his Mom, Dad and Sister. We talk about him often and miss his hugs. May his memory live on in our hearts. We love you always and forever Emm Poo!
