Chip was such a special cat. Everyone says that about their cats, but he really was. He was always so cautious, yet curious. His eyes always scanned you when you spoke to him because he truly wanted to understand what you were saying and analyze it. It sounds crazy, but it’s true. He was never aggressive towards the other cats, never hissed, even when they would do it to him. He accepted being poked and prodded several times a day due to his diabetes and never once resented us for it. And while some cats are really lap cats, Chip wasn’t, except on rare occasions when he knew you really needed him. Wise beyond a normal cat, he always knew just what to do. I’m so lucky he picked me to be his human, and his special bond with Ryan was like no other as well. He truly was a one in a million cat, I will never forget him and I miss him so much. If love would have been enough to heal him these last few days, he’d have been in perfect health and lived to be 100. He was so very loved. Chip. Rest In Peace, my sweet boy. 4/21/2013-1/17/2022 |
