José Jalapeño was born November 18th, 2012… He came home with his parent’s  Jeremy and Emmie Oberhaus on January 1st, 2013. 2 weeks after arriving home he became sick and got Parvo. He almost lost his life, but he fought hard and his parents fought hard for him. He spent 1 week in the hospital before he was able to return back home.. He was a warrior and fighter.. José loved his mommy and met her at the door every evening when she got home.. He loved to do little dances and beg for those pupperoni treats.. or any food.. He loved to burry himself under blankets, slept between mommies feet, liked to pee on dads side of the bed, loved camping, boat rides, to give kisses, hugs and to snuggle. He passed in mommy arms, with dad close by. José Jalapeño el parvo on an ankle Oberhaus you will never be forgotten and you will always be missed! Well love and miss you dearly…

Emmie I remember when we were staying in the camper and I had went down to the house for something and for some reason I couldn’t find Jose…It was summer time and real hot outside so the air was on in your house..I yelled and yelled for him ..looked everywhere In the house..still no Jose..I just knew he had gotten out side and was hurt..I walked the ditch over and over ..was going in to call you guys and for some reason looked over on the couch and seen a blanket moving…he had been under that blanket the whole time…I was having a heat stroke looking for him outside…and he had been cold and was under the blanket trying to get warm… I was so happy to see him..!!!
