Memorial

Shora was the bestest girl, the gentlest soul I have ever known. She was a retired racer, a beautiful princess for whom I would give almost anything to have her back and healthy for just a while longer. She loved zoomies, and fresh snow, and soft blankets, and especially pillows. She had ancient, wise eyes. She found out she loved the cool water in a nearby creek on a hot day, and she would have loved the beach. She would explode with joyous excitement when someone was at the door, or if an outing was about to happen. She loved us all in her adopted family, and Ethan most of all, her special hooman; she was at her most contented when she knew he was near. My heart is shattered, and I hope she somehow knew how deeply she was loved.
