Memorial

To my baby boy in heaven. 11 years ago on February 14th we got you! I remember I got picked up after school not knowing we was going to get a dog, all I knew we was going to Walmart. I wanted a dog for 7 years and that day we finally got you! When we picked you up I didn’t want to let you go I was so happy and excited I got a puppy. I’m so glad it was YOU we got. When we got home later that day I remember reading my nursery rhymes to you in the kitchen cubbyhole we used to have. We was trying to pick a name out for you at the time, I asked “how about Pepsi or coco” mom and dad said NO. Brother asked about a few names and it was a NO too. Mom ended up saying hooch, we all agreed you’re name would be hooch. That name fits you so well! We have made so many good and bad memories with each other I will never forget any of them especially the good ones. I remember when you was just a pup, I used to nibble on your ears when you chewed on my fingers. Waking up in the mornings cuddling with you was the best!! Waking up in the middle of the night to go pee then cuddle with you was the best!! Coming home from school with you waiting at the back door for me to hand feed you was the best!! I remember when we got that statue cat you freaked out and jumped on it. I remember one day I was standing in the middle of the living room floor talking to mom. Dad went outside to bring you in. When you stepped you’re paws inside you ran like a banchi to the living room. I didn’t move out of your way so you just ran right into me, I basically did a backflip on you. Once I stood back up here you come again running me over and I did another backflip on you. We was all laughing at what happened. Brother said we should have gotten that on a video and sent it to “funniest home videos” when it was nice outside in the mornings dad would let you out of your pin so you can run and play with your soccer ball. We used to have much fun with you’re soccer ball. You used to run to the front gate to the back gate over and over again until you got tired. You knew when one of us was sick, sad or angry and you tried your best to comfort us. One day I brought my black fluffy pillow out to lay on the couch with. Before I laid down I had to pee, when I came back you’re head was on my pillow and you was half way asleep. I left you there and didn’t bother you I just sat next to you and laid my head down on your butt hoping you don’t fart. Now I have the black fluffy pillow out on my bed and muffin sleeps on it just like you did! You had so many flaws that is what made you so perfect to us. Going out In you’re pin sitting on the ground talking to you and loving on you was the best!! You never really did like THE FINGER or the word “roll over” we learned the hard way on that.  I remember you getting jealous because dad is next to mom so you used to always try to get up on the couch in between them. The birds would tease you by putting your food in your water bowl and you hated dirty water. The squirrels would always climb on your fence just to annoy you. You would run and hide from the vacuum sweeper but tried to eat the lawn mower. You were so energetic and happy almost all the time. I remember when Brother let you sniff his gum container then he went to hide it and let you try to find it. Every time you would want me to hand feed you, you would grab me by the finger and guid me to you’re food bowl. You try to trick us as you’re eating to get a snack. You would nibble at your food and then run to us to give you a snack with us knowing you didn’t actually eat. You hated going to the vet but when you knew it was time you had no choice. You loved your car rides. You are such a weird and crazy dog and I loved it. You have always been my number 1 and always will be. You are such a silly dog and I’m glad we chose you.
