Wahlburg went to his next life with the Lord on March 12, 2024. Wahlburg was born on October 15, 2015. When he was adopted, it was said that he was a pure Boston Terrier. A male and female Boston was shown to be his birth parents. However, as he grew, so did his snout! Turns out, his birth Momma was a from around the block and he ended up being a Boston/Rat Terrier Mix! As his Grandpa Frank would say, “A Super Freak but a Brick House”! (Cue the music!) Anyway, that was just fine! His True Momma loved him regardless and spoiled him rotten. Wahlburg was different! He had a special look to him! He wasn’t like any other dog around. He had his gentleman tuxedo, acted like a pure Boston but his face didn’t match his Boston heart. Many would ask, “Hey! What kind of dog is that?” His mom would joke that he was an oversized chihuahua and she would warn: “stay back because he will bite the back of your ankles”, however a certain skunk in Medical Center would disagree! (Don’t ask!) Some would claim his Mom had a big rat problem because he followed his Momma everywhere! Funny, the joke was on them because he ended up being half Rat Terrier! Wahlburg loved his Pet Barn treats and any table food his loved ones would sneak to him. Even though one would have a Benadryl ready to go because he was allergic to EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING! He was the robo vac before that was even a thing. He loved long walks but not on the beach. He hated the beach! (Who the heck hates the Beach???) Don’t get me started with the water… he would go stiff like someone just slammed on the breaks! He also hated when those neighbors on the beach would cross into our area! Never seen a grown man run so quickly in dismay! Ah, never a dull moment with Wahlburg! He loved and obsessed pretending to pee on anything and everything he smelled, even though his stream was finished at the first stop. Wahlburg officially broke the record for being the quickest dog in the world to destroy a stuffed toy! He loved violently shaking his toys like if it was payback to that one Skunk! Wahlburg loved napping and sunbathing in the Sun. He loved laying under the blankets and sheets. Nap time was his favorite! Car rides were great but only if he was shotgun! Wahlburg loved his back rubs. He would insist! Wahlburg was has been all over Texas. He is THE road dog! He is even wad the RV security dog by barking every-single-thing to death! He even almost got his momma kicked out of a beach hotel! Again, never a dull day! Wahlburg was a man of many faces! It was like he had his own way of saying every thing he meant with his judgmental eyes! I will miss those brown eyes of his! Oh beloved Wahlburg. How I going to miss you! You are loved by so many. You touched every heart of those you met. Your heart was so loving and gentle. Your bark was intimating but you were the sweetest Pup. You stood guard and protected everyone you loved. You gave this world 9 wonderful years of your beautiful love and life. I love you to death! I won’t EVER forget you! I already miss you so much! I don’t know what I am going to do without you not in my life! You were everything to me! My best friend, my partner, the greatest love of my life! Special thank you to Momma, Selena, Faith, Brother Clem, for being my strength right now. I love you all! I’m so sorry Mom, Dad, Tia Julie, JAM, Deanna and Steve. I know how much you loved him. He loved you all. Thank you to all the others who loved him and always checking up on Wahlburg. You all know who you are. Wahlburg loved you all so much. You all made him so happy and I thank you for that.
